Biography of Kadijah a.k.a. Ms. Attitude
Born Kadisha
McLean in St. Catherine in the early 90s, reggae
singer/sing-jay Kadijah a.k.a. Ms. Attitude has made great strides in Europe
with her latest single, “Good like
Gold”, making its debut at number 5 on the Pullupparty.com
top ten charts in Europe in May 2016.
The song which has proven
the budding entertainer’s prowess on the international reggae music scene, was
produced by Chester Walker on his Very Huge Records label, and
co-written with singer/songwriter Wayne Wonder along with Walker and
Black Pearl.
Kadijah
grew up in the sunshine city of Portmore, St.
Catherine, where she attended the Ascot High School. She later joined the
school choir, with a few of her friends playing instruments, while she
expresses her potential as a vocalist and the ability to write songs of her
own.
It is a small wonder that Kadijah would have
chosen music as a career as it was evident that the music was in her genes as
her father Ian McLean was a studio engineer back in the days.
Kadijah kick
started her recording debut with the song, ’Love the way you hold me’
which was produced by Camp One Studios which increased her eagerness to
continue with the music.
Kadijah
auditioned for the popular TV series Magnum King and Queen of dancehall before
her career took off when Walker double
up as her manager and producer to record, ‘Good like gold’.
Her cover of
Rihanna’s Work, Work is currently doing well on the air-waves and along
with Love the Way You Hold Me, and Good like Gold are on I Tunes
and YouTube.

Kadijah being a jovial soul, is quite a wonderful person to be among,
she loves God and has worked hard for her success.
In encouraging other
upcoming talents, Kadijah warned ‘not to give up, no matter how hard it is’,
but “just be yourself,” she said.
