Wins First Ever Grammy Award
Sibling
reggae group, Morgan Heritage, have been aannounced as the Grammy winner for
Best Reggae Album at the 58th Grammy Awards.
Nominated
for the first time in their careers, the group comprises of Peetah Morgan,
Gramps Morgan, Mojo Morgan, Una Morgan and Lukes Morgan, all these five members
are the children of the veteran reggae singer Denroy Morgan.
Morgan
Heritage won in the Best Reggae Album of the year category. Below is the full

The
nomination list list comprises of Jamaicans except Rocky Dawuni who is an
African, from Ghana , to be precise.
Accepting
the award for the group at the ceremony were Peetah, Gramps and Lukes.
The
reggae group won for their album 'Strictly Roots', which topped the Billboard
Reggae Album Chart when it was released last April.
The
2016 Grammy Awards ceremony was held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles,
California, and was hoste by LL Cool J..
